Bomba Granted Permission to Open

Eric Morillo Subliminal
The eagerly anticipated new club, that was set to open in Ibiza this summer, has just received permission from the Ibiza Town Council, to proceed with its plans. The welcome news will come as a big boost to the clubbing landscape of the Ibiza, as it is sure to shake up the Islands VIP society scene. The new venture, which has yet to be named, will open at the old Penelope's Club, which is quiet close to Pacha. It was last home to the Gay party Heaven, and will be managed by ex Pacha, creative director, Danny Whittle. Already it is rumoured that Defected will be resident there for 2013 and there are also whispers that, Subliminal, may also join the new club which has yet to be named. Other big DJ names are expected to be associated with the club.

Both Ushuaia and upmarket restaurant Capriani, will also collaborate with the new venue. In August last year, Pacha Magazine, reported that the club had been bought by partners, Guissipi Capriani, the Iranian society Queen Princess Sorayna and British model, Naomi Campbell. It is expected that the new club will be aimed at a more upmarket clientèle and will have the financial clout to attract big star names. It will make an ideal after party venue for VIP clients at Ushuaia and is expected to be open for June. The Club will require a major facelift and now, with the relevant planning licences secured, it is expected that work will soon start on refurbishments to the 2000 maximum capacity venue.
