In a surprise announcement on Twitter this evening, Danny Whittle, Brand Director at Pacha, has announced that he is to leave the company he has been an integral part of since 1996. Whittle 50, an ex Navy man from Stoke On Trent in England, stated on Twitter this evening "after13 years today was my final day...on to bigger and better things im excited... thank you pacha it was a trip". Whittle was a major player at Pacha helping establish the much respected and stylish, Pacha Magazine, along with the Pacha Record Label. He has worked at all levels of the Pacha operation and employed a very much, hands on style of management at the Club. Listed as one of the Ten Most Influential People In Ibiza Clubbing, by leading social media website Ibiza Spotlight in 2004, Whittle was known for his direct and straight talking manner. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Danny Whittle. He has confirmed that he will now become self employed and build a company of his own. Earlier this year Whittle, Ben Turner and Pete Tong joined forces to drive the123 Rocktronic Festival concept in San Antonio. If that festival is to become a successful one, then it will take all of Danny's full time talents to build the brand.
